BEAUMONT — The Art Museum of Southeast Texas held it Summer Family Arts Day event on Saturday, and children got a chance to create artwork from ordinary items, even items that were destined for the trash.

KFDM/Fox 4's Ian Criss reports on how children had the opportunity to use their imagination to turn what some might consider junk into their very own masterpieces.
