Local couple fights for their newborn's life
Kaylan and Grant Franks are parents to two children - 2-year-old Briley and 3-week-old Kensley.
When Kaylan was 17 weeks pregnant, the doctors found that baby Kensley's brain and skull were failing to form.
Kensley was diagnosed with aprosencephaly, a severe form of cerebral malformation.
The Franks are fighting for their little girl, and medical bills are piling up.
A benefit is will be held for Kensley at the Goodyear Wingfoot Club off of Highway 124 on Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. There will be food, games, prizes, auctions and more.
If you can't make it to the benefit and still would like to help the family, you can donate to their GoFundMe page by clicking here.
There's also an account set up with Baby Kensley at Gulf Credit Union -- Acct.# 86278.
