Local Police and US Marshal's office looking for murder suspect from Louisiana

Earlier today the US Marshals with the assistance of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's office attempted to locate
a homicide suspect. The suspect was in a red F150 with Louisiana plates.
A Jefferson County Sheriff's deputy saw the truck and began to pursue it. Several units then joined in the pursuit. They lost the vehicle around laurel ave and ih10.
A Jefferson County helicopter called in to say they found the suspect vehicle in the 4100 blk of Calder at a small apartment complex.
At the same time, another deputy spotted the homicide suspect at 11th street. and college. The homicide suspect was taken into custody at that location.
The Jefferson County sheriff's office was assisted by the Beaumont police department and the ATF. The us Marshals were also there.
Calcasieu parish is in route to Jefferson county to question the suspect and take him back to Louisiana.
The suspect's vehicle has been taken to a secure location to be processes.
At this time, they are looking for a second person that may have been helping the homicide suspect get around.
