ROSE CITY -- Much of Rose City remains underwater more than one week after Tropical Storm Harvey.
Many homes are only accessible by boat.
Meanwhile, others are finally able to see their damaged homes.
Although, some water conditions have improved, it will still take time until all the water goes away.
Lilac Lane in Rose City is almost underwater, more than a week after Tropical Storm Harvey hit Southeast Texas.
Deputy Marshal Ken Bost is slowly allowing residents back into the area.
Much of the city's equipment has been destroyed.
Volunteers are still out rescuing animals in the high water.
And, the Deputy Marshall Bost is warning residents to be careful of alligators.
