Bond has been set at $800,000 for 19-year-old Ava Musgrove, who is charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of 19-year-old Fandashia Guillory.

The Beaumont Police Department Family Violence Unit is investigating a homicide.

BPD Officer Haley Morrow tells KFDM/FOX 4 News a 911 call came into dispatch around 7 pm Sunday about a shooting that happened at a residence on the 4300 block of Fonville Avenue.

A Guillory was transported to a local hospital where she died.

Neighbor Jose Guerra says there is usually a lot of commotion from different neighbors who live on Fonville Avenue.

He said he was surprised that someone had been killed.
