Police reveal name of homicide victim at Sunlight Manor in Beaumont

BEAUMONT — Beaumont police have released name of homicide victim 19 year old Beaumont resident Gariyon Coleman, was who was shot and killed late Thursday night.

FROM BPD - When Officers arrived on scene, they located a gun shot victim and attempted to render aid, however, the victim was pronounced deceased a short time later by Beaumont EMS. The victim is identified as Gariyon Coleman, a 19 year old Beaumont resident. Detectives are seeking information from possible witnesses to this homicide. Anyone who was in the area of the Sunlight Manor Apartment Complex from 9:00 pm-11:00 pm last night and witnessed anything out of the ordinary, please call Beaumont Police at 409-832-1234.
