Person transported to hospital following shooting in Orange

Press release from the Orange Police Department 12:12 a.m. Friday:

On April 12, 2018 at 9:08 PM, Orange Police Department received a 911 call in reference to a shooting in the 2500 blk. of W. Park Ave.

Officers arrived and located a black male with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was identified as DeMarcus Rogers, 23.

Rogers' condition is unknown at the time of this press release.

No arrest has been made.

The investigation is ongoing by the detective division.

BREAKING: A shooting in Orange tonight. Right now, police are at the scene in the 2500 block of Park Avenue at the Park Avenue Manor Apartments.

One person has been transported to the hospital.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. Thursday.
