PORT ARTHUR — DEVELOPING NEWS UPDATE: Port Arthur Police are releasing the name of a 24-year-old woman who died when her vehicle crashed into a highway support beam.
Port Arthur Police say Kaylie Broussard, 24, of Port Arthur, was killed when her Honda crashed into a concrete support beam.
Officers responded to the crash at about 1:40 a..m. Friday in the 3600 block of SH 73. Broussard died at the scene.
The PAPD Advanced Accident Reconstruction Team determined the driver was traveling eastbound on SH 73 and left the roadway, with her car eventually coming to rest in between the north and southbound lanes of US 69.
