UPDATE: Police release name of motorcyclist killed when driver turns in front of him

BEAUMONT — Beaumont Police are releasing the name of a motorcycle driver who died when officers say a driver turned in front of him on College Street.

Police identify the motorcycle driver as Corey Sennet, 33, of Beaumont.

The preliminary investigation reveals Sennet was traveling eastbound in the 4200 block of College shortly before 6 a.m. and a driver who was traveling westbound on College turned south on Denton in front of the motorcycle.

The vehicles collided on College near the Raceway gas station. Sennet died at the scene.
