Port Arthur city leaders accused of rejecting millions of dollars in Harvey assistance

Port Arthur city leaders are accused of rejecting millions of dollars in hurricane assistance.

A community activist is mobilizing storm victims to head to city hall and demand that money.

The money is federal housing funds administered by the Texas General Land Office.

Community activist Hilton Kelley says there's great need for that cash for low to moderate income storm victims who lost their homes to Tropical Storm Harvey.

However, one councilman argues the city already has too much public housing.

KFDM/Fox 4's Angel San Juan has the report.
