The Salvation Army extended hours for people who need shelter

The Salvation Army in Beaumont has extended its hours due to the cold weather. The women's side of the shelter is already filled for the night, but employees will put out extra beds if anyone else needs a warm place to lay their head. KFDM/Fox 4's Elaine Kong reports why workers at the Salvation Army want all the beds to be filled for the night. If you know anyone who needs a place to stay, and it's after midnight, call (409) 333-5595. That number will reach a Salvation Army employee, and will let you inside the emergency shelter.
