Breaking: Third suspect now sought in Legg murder in Nederland

BREAKING NEWS: A third man is now charged with capital murder in the death of a Nederland man at his home and a search is underway for him at the moment.

Nederland PD, Beaumont PD and the DA's Office worked together to develop evidence they say has led to the warrant for Dcobien James Dorsey, 19, of Beaumont on a charge of capital murder in the May 9 death of Michael Legg. The warrant was issued Thursday.

JP Nancy Beaulieu issued an arrest warrant and she set a $1 million bond.

He's considered armed and dangerous.

Yesterday, May 31, 2018, Investigators from the Nederland Police Department charged a third suspect with the May 9, 2018 murder of Michael Odell Legg at 8136 Beauxart Garden Road, Nederland, Texas.

Nederland Police Department Investigators, with assistance from the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office and the Beaumont Police Department, obtained a warrant for the arrest of nineteen (19) year old, B/M, Dcobien James Dorsey, for the murder of Michael Odell Legg. Dcobien Dorsey is thought to be a resident of Beaumont.

A Capital Murder warrant for Dcobien James Dorsey was issued yesterday, May 31, 2018 by Justice of The Peace, Nancy Beaulieu. Judge Beaulieu set bond for Dcobien Dorsey at one million dollars.

Dcobien James Dorsey is at large at this time.

The Nederland Police Department asked that anyone knowing the whereabouts of Dcobien James Dorsey to please contact their local police department or notify Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas at (409)833-TIPS.

Dcobien James Dorsey should be considered dangerous.
