Veteran Affairs sends mobile medical unit to Beaumont, Silsbee

The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs sent a mobile medical unit, veteran center and canteen to the Beaumont VA Outpatient Clinic and a medical unit to Silsbee High School.

Similar efforts are underway in the Houston area as Southeast Texans try to recover from Hurricane Harvey.

Veteran Affairs is offering medical care, pharmacy assistance, counseling services and benefits referral to veterans and the community affected by the storm.
