Vidor ISD removes student from classes, starts investigation after alleged comment
Vidor ISD Superintendent Jay Killgo releases a statement (below) on Friday, Feb. 23 after a student was said to have made an "inappropriate, threatening statement."
"Earlier today, a Vidor High School student was reported as making an inappropriate, threatening statement to several students in class. The incident was reported to administrators and Vidor ISD police and an immediate investigation was begun. Legal protocol was followed and the appropriate discipline was used in the matter. VHS students were in no danger. We will continue to fully investigate any reports of this nature and ensure the security of our students. The student has been removed from all classes. All students making statements of this type will face serious school discipline and legal punishment."
