ORANGE COUNTY, Texas -- A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper arrested the father of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott on marijuana charges.
A trooper conducted a traffic stop at about 4 p.m. Saturday on Highway 87 in Orange County.
According to the DPS, the trooper discovered marijuana in the pocket of the driver's side door of the Cadillac Escalade.
The driver was identified as Nathaniel Prescott, 57, of Pflugerville.
He was taken to the Orange County Jail for the Class B misdemeanor offense for possessing less than two ounces of marijuana. He posted $500 bond and was released.
