Several people have reached out to us, to make sure we know more about Tyler Winfree.

A cousin, who is in the Marines and stationed out of this area, wrote a message to us.

"I've seen you were asking for information about my cousin Tyler Winfree. He was by far the most selfless person you would have ever met. He would give you every penny in his pocket if you asked for it. He cared deeply for his family and friends. I just want to make sure that the community knows what type of person he was."

    A neighbor sent another message.

"His wife and kids deserve there privacy, but I will tell you that he was a great person to have as a neighbor and friend. He will truly be missed."
