Some retailers, like Walmart and Best Buy, are selling items to help you get ready for the total solar eclipse on Monday the 21st. Others, like Quiznos, are marking the occasion with in-store and/or online specials.

As you celebrate the first total solar eclipse visible from the U.S. mainland since February 1979, here's a look at some of the deals happening in the collective retail universe:
Back in 1979, during the last total solar eclipse visible to Americans, Arby's Classic Roast Beef Sandwich cost only $1.19. On Aug. 21, that price returns at select Arby's restaurants in Charlotte, North Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina; Columbia, South Carolina; Nashville, Tennessee; and Paducah, Kentucky.
Technology haven Best Buy says it wants to help customers get the most out of this month's historic eclipse. The Minnesota-based retailer says the following items are available in every Best Buy store, as well as online:
If you don't already follow Dunkin' Donuts on Twitter, the treatmaker is offering a sweet incentive to get social. Between noon and 5 p.m. Eastern time Aug. 21, up to 100 Dunkin' Donuts Twitter followers will be chosen to win a $5 Dunkin' mGift.

"Don't be left in the dark," J. Crew Factory warns shoppers. The J. Crew outlet is holding an online flash sale Aug. 21, offering 50 percent off "everything" and free shipping with the promo code ECLIPSE.
If you enjoy doughnuts, chances are you're a fan of Krispy Kreme's Original Glazed staple. On Aug. 21, as the sun goes dark, so does the sugary favorite.
At participating U.S. and Canadian Krispy Kreme shops, the Original Glazed Doughnut "will be eclipsed by a mouth-watering chocolate glaze to coincide with the solar eclipse."
Superfans can taste the darkness early - during evening Hot Light hours Saturday, Aug. 19 and Sunday, Aug. 20.
On Aug. 21, Pottery Barn is offering 21 percent off one regular-priced item (including furniture) and free shipping on orders (excluding furniture) with the promo code ECLIPSE.
In 2015, Princess Cruises teamed up with Discovery to launch Discovery at Sea, "offering memorable cruise vacation experiences for the whole family to enjoy based on Discovery’s breadth of brands and programming like 'Shark Week' and 'Mythbusters.'"
On Aug. 21, Stargazing with Discovery at Sea staff will provide nearly 18,000 guests aboard six cruise ships in Alaska an educational background on what causes a solar eclipse.
“Through our exclusive partnership with Discovery Communications, we’re able to offer expert tips and background from Science Channel experts that provide intriguing commentary around this rare phenomenon and for the ultimate viewing party onboard,” said Denise Saviss, Princess Cruises vice president, entertainment experiences.
Princess Cruises says seafarers aboard Coral Princess, Emerald Princess, Grand Princess, Island Princess, Ruby Princess and Star Princess will witness an approximately 54 percent view of the spectacle.
Eclipse Cookies and activities for children and teens are among the eclipse celebrations.
If you get hungry from sun-gazing, Quiznos has you covered. All day Aug. 21, the Denver-based chain restaurant is offering customers 20 percent off orders made through the Quiznos Toasty Points app.
QVC.com is offering a "Reach for the Stars" curated assortment of eclipse-themed merchandise, like telescopes and sun and moon products. Seventy celestial items, including several available on Easy Payments, are featured.
Are you the seafaring type? As the moon cruises over the sun, you’ll be able to view the spectacle from the ocean - on Royal Caribbean’s seven-night Total Eclipse Cruise.
Royal Caribbean promises “the best view” of the solar eclipse on the second day of the voyage. There will be “special celestial activities” aboard the Oasis of the Seas, including a DNCE concert with "Total Eclipse of the Heart" singer Bonnie Tyler. Other events include enrichment lectures for adults and interactive science activities for children.
The ship leaves Sunday, Aug. 20, from Orlando, Florida’s Port Canaveral, so you can swing by the Kennedy Space Center before you head out to sea. Bookings start at $2,369 as of Aug. 7.
Royal Caribbean says seven of its other ships will offer passengers "extraordinary" partial views of the eclipse.
Perhaps the only thing more spectacular than witnessing the total solar eclipse from the American mainland is viewing it from the sky. Southwest Airlines thinks so, too.
The Dallas-based company has identified five Aug. 21 flights “most likely to experience maximum effects” of the eclipse:
Southwest says passengers on these "celestial chaser" flights will receive “commemorative ‘flare’” that includes “cosmic cocktails” and viewing glasses.
Warren Qualley, manager of meteorology for Southwest, said in a statement: “Not to throw too much shade but with 3,857 flights scheduled to operate that day using our all-Boeing 737 fleet, we'll be unmatched in offering hundreds of seats in the air over the continental U.S. that morning with a potential view of the rare sight. We plan to showcase the glow of our everyday hospitality in a different light on these celebratory flights in our summer flight schedule and our team of meteorologists is working hard to provide clear viewing of this solar spectacle from our flights! The next total solar eclipse visible in the U.S. won't occur until April 8, 2024, so don't miss this opportunity!"
A United Airlines spokeswoman said, "We look forward to welcoming customers aboard 4,292 domestic flights on Aug. 21 and wish our customers a happy potential viewing of this incredible sight."
The largest retailer in the world invites its customers to “Get Eclipsed” this summer. Walmart has received the largest shipment in the nation of CE-certified, ISO-approved eclipse glasses from American Paper Optics and is selling them for just $1 per pair.
You also have the option of purchasing the eyewear with a factoid-filled guidebook for $3.47.
Walmart says it has millions of eclipse glasses available in thousands of stores. Ninety percent of Americans live within 10 miles of a Walmart, so chances are you’ll be able to get your hands on a pair.
“We’re definitely seeing sales heat up for certified solar viewing glasses at thousands of Walmart stores nationwide, the hottest tracking in those states along the eclipse totality path from Oregon all the way to South Carolina,” said Walmart spokeswoman Meggan Kring.
She added, “Other must-have products we expect could prove popular include sunscreen or Ozark Trail camping chairs, as well as eclipse-themed fun snacks like Luna bars, Moon pies, Sun Chips, Capri Sun or Eclipse gum to make a stellar picnic complete.”
