NOTES FROM THE OUTDOORS
Some anglers fish jigs. Some throw swimbaits. For targeting lunker bucketmouth bass, try a combination of the two baits. Attach a swimbait about four to six inches long to the hook of a weedless jighead. Hook the plastic bait through the nose. The jig adds casting weight to the lure and helps the swimbait move through the weeds better. The wobbling swimbait tail adds more action to the lure.
