Patrina Adger is the new weekday noon anchor and morning reporter for KFDM.

Prior to joining KFDM, Patrina worked as a freelance multi-media journalist for ABC 13 In Houston.

She was the senior lead reporter and education reporter at KOCO 5 News in Oklahoma City where she covered Capitol news, tornadoes and earthquakes, and stories throughout the pandemic including the death of George Floyd.

Patrina was a military brat born in the United Kingdom and raised in San Antonio.

She has a Communications/ Radio and TV degree from Prairie View A&M and is currently attending graduate school at the University of Houston-Downtown.

Patrina began her television career in Southern Illinois at WSIL as a reporter. She later reported in Tulsa, Oklahoma, San Antonio, College Station before returning to the Houston-area.

Her reporting on the jury selection of Joe Maldonado, better known as Joe Exotic, was also featured in the hit documentary series "Tiger King".

One of her most memorable interviews was with the Godfather of Soul James Brown.

Her work has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists. She was also a 2021 candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Oklahoma’s Woman of the Year.

She also received the "Dignitary Public Sector Hero Award" for her efforts and contributions to the community.

Patrina is a big sports fan and faithfully follows the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, and the Houston Astros!
